News - Chemical substances 12/12/2011: IUCLID 5.3.2 is available. All IUCLID plug-ins have been adapted to IUCLID 5.3. REACh 17/02/2012 : the second amendment (Regulation (EU) No.125/2012 of 14/02/2012) modifying Annex XIV to REACh Regulation has been published in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJ L41, 15.2.2012, p.1). Eight substances have been added : diisobutyl phtalate (DIBP), diarsenic trioxide, diarsenic pentaoxide, lead chromate, lead sulfochromate yellow, lead chromate molybdate red, tris(2-chloroethyl) phosphate (TCEP) and 2,4-dinitrotoluene (2,4-DNT). 30/06/2011: European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has published a list of 2300 substances intended to be registered by 31/05/2013. CLP 13/02/2012: European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) launches the Classification and Labelling Inventory of chemicals on the EU market. Over three million submission records covering more than 90 000 chemical substances are now freely accessible from the ECHA website. 10/03/2011: publication of Commission Regulation (EU) No.286/2011, the 2nd Adaptation to Technical Progress of the CLP. It will apply in respect of substances from 01/12/2012, and in respect of mixtures from 01/06/2015. 01/12/2010: obligation to apply the new rules of classification and labelling of CLP Regulation for substances and to notify them to the inventory of ECHA. 10/08/2009: publication of Commission Regulation (EC) No.790/2009, the 1st Adaptation to Technical Progress of Regulation (EC) No.1272/2008, "CLP Regulation". Regulation (EC) No.1272/2008, entered into force on 20/01/2009 was developed to implement the international recommendations of the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) established by the UN within the European Union. |
